Erica Moody has been an Elementary University Supervisor of Student Teaching and Lecturer since 2015. She teaches undergraduate and graduate certificate candidates in their culminating semester, student teaching/internship. Moody’s special interests include preservice teacher supervision and coaching, clinical educator preparation and training, and beginning teacher retention. Prior to working at UNC Charlotte, Moody taught first, second, and third grades, ESL, and served as a principal intern in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Moody is committed to preparing highly effective beginning teachers through supportive coaching, mentoring, and supervision.
